Lexis Nexis Enterprise Solutions is looking for a FullStack Software Engineer to work on our new legal technology platform, Lexis® Omni built on Microsoft Azure.
As a Software Engineer you will join Enterprise Solutions (
www.lexisnexis-es.co.uk
), the software business in LexisNexis. You will work with the Lexis® Omni legal technology platform, built on Microsoft Azure, which includes Lexis ® Everyfile and Lexis® Visualfiles™, the market leading case management and business process automation software solution.
What you can expect
You will be responsible for Developing solutions based on requirements for our emerging solutions, including:
  • Reviewing the Product User Stories and requirements to provide accurate Development estimates and input into Technical approaches.
  • Developing solutions in line with the requirements and architectural approaches. We are aligned to Microsoft and our solutions exploit Azure and MS365 technologies alongside other 3rd party systems that are prevalent in the legal market.
  • Developing solutions to ensure that all time and quality SLA’s are met.
  • Supporting other Development Team members and Architect
Your technical abilities will support the delivery of our next generation products, applications & APIs as we continue to exploit Azure services. You will also be expected to continually refine our Agile methodology, supporting deployment pipelines and engaging with our testing strategy to ensure the delivery of stable and performant solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development of solutions that align to the architectural approaches.
  • Provide accurate estimates and technical approaches based on Product requirements.
  • The ability to work on your own or contribute to collaborative sessions
  • Support environment / development pipeline activities.
  • Attend and input into daily Scrum meetings.
  • Support the Sprint review activities.
  • Provide accurate updates to the Senior Developer and Architect
  • Pro-actively review processes and procedures and provide recommendations on improvements.
  • Working closely with the Product Owner and Product Management team to understand requirements.
  • Work collaboratively and support the other Development and QA team members with any issues / challenges.
We would love you to have
  • Proven commercial experience using C#/ASP.Net Core/Web API/MVC
  • Proven commercial experience using Angular (v7+) /RXJS /NGRX /TypeScript /Jasmine /HTML5/SCSS
  • Excellent UI/UX experience
  • Proven commercial experience of developing Azure resources & services
  • Proven commercial experience of Moq/xUnit/MSTest
  • Proven commercial experience of Visual Studio/VSCode/Git
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment, CI/CD processes
